Many of us are excited for Home, But what will it do with your games?

Rumor has it the Home lobby for Warhawk will serve as a "war room" where up to eight players can meet to discuss their strategy for an upcoming match.

Using a three-dimensional "sand table" replication of the level, Warhawk players are said to be able to lay out their strategies in a properly scaled space. They'll even be able to place little army men avatars around the map to envision their formations, something we hope they can also do with teeny tiny Warhawk planes, tanks and Jeeps.

The Warhawk war room is said to also serve as a launchpad for games, thankfully, so jumping into a match shouldn't require leaving the Home interface.

If we can see additions like this to Warhawk to increase the experience that much more, I know we will be addicted for life....now if only home would get up and going.

Yes there will be online modes for GTA IV, with support for up to 16 players. You will not be able to play as Nikko, but you will be able to design your own character. You will get new clothes and accessories unlocked as you rank up. Ranks run from 0-10, with experience earned by collecting cash in multiplayer. Cash is dropped by opponents and can be nabbed by anyone and is also automatically earned for performing certain tasks in the various modes. So if you kill someone and you dont get to the cash quick enough, someone else will grab it! The multiplayer modes are Team Deathmatch, GTA Race, Cops N Crooks, Hangman's Noose, Team Mafia, Team Car Jack, Turf war, and Free Roam!
But the real multiplayer news is coming from Realtime Worlds, its not about GTA IV, but about All Points Bulletin. Dave Jones, the architect behind Grand Theft Auto and current CEO of Realtime Worlds, spoke with developmag.com where he said APB could succeed in the face of WoW's MMO stranglehold. -Thats a hefty goal, but who else would stand a chance except for the number 2 best selling franchise of all time!(Prob. number 1 in a month!) Realtime Worlds recently acquired $50 million in funding and Jones has very ambitious plans for the companies first MMO.
Jones recently announced that APB is on target for a 2009 release.

Also I switched my reservation, I had GTA IV on reserve for 360 for over a year now, and decided to switch it to ps3... i wanted it for 360 because i know i will be putting loads of hours into it and wanted to make sure i have something to show for it, i.e. the achievements. but seing as how i have gta 3, vice city, and san andreas for ps2,(i never got liberty city stories cause the whole psp thing pissed me off) so I thougt why break the mold, and switched my res. to ps3.

Sony has now officially stated "we will expand the Closed Beta testing for PLAYSTATION Home in Summer 2008, inviting a further number of registrants from the PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3) users. Following completion of the Expanded Closed Beta test, the PLAYSTATION Home Open Beta service will commence in Fall 2008."

Well I finally got it!!!! Gin got me a new game for my birthday, The Orange Box so I will be on TF2, .... well after I beat portal that is cause that game is sweet....lol!

Now that the Dualshock 3 is coming out the Sixaxis controller will no longer be produced.

The President of the company that created "Everquest" is ambitious to start putting out some RPG games for the PS3. They are going to stick with the online aspect of the games. And also due to not having a keyboard like in the PC games they create, They are going to add voice commands to take over the role of the keyboard.

Nyko is currently coming out with a new guitar that works for both "Rockband" and "Guitar Hero III". It does not look as "Rocktastic" as the other guitars but for $59.99 you are getting a pretty good deal even if it was just a box with buttons. So for you guys that play these its something to check out.

Sounds great right?! well here is where it begins to get a little iffy, a single episode purchase is $2.99, or an annual subscription is $24.99 for 13 episodes. My biggest concern is they are going to make it so that if you dont subscribe to Qore you are going to miss out on the hottest new demos, previews, or add-on content, nearly forcing you to want to subscribe to something we get for free right now... im not convinced how bout you?
